French Chamber of Commerce Sydney at Agathon Galleries (27 May 2010)
Guests from the French Chamber of Commerce Sydney enjoyed the hospitality
of Agathon Galleries at an evening art and drinks soiree on May 27. The viewing
co-incided with the launch of a number of paintings from the Masterpieces of
Aborginal Australia exhibition which was showcased at Art Monaco.

 Art Monaco (29 April-3 May 2010)
Agathon Galleries particpated in Art Monaco with over 50 other international galleries at the glamorous
Grimaldi Forum which overlooked a serene coastal setting on Mediterranean. Our Aboriginal art was of enormous
interest to the locals with the work of Tommy Watson, Carol Golding, Helen McCarthy, Lance Peck, Patsy Mafura and
Regina Wilson exhibited.

Art Dubai
Agathon Galleries' exhibition of work in March at Art Dubai 2010 was very successful in establishing our
presence in the Middle Eastern market. Our artists paintings were exposed to a very appreciative
international market. Artists exhibited included Yannima Tommy Watson, Yinarupa Nangala, Helen McCarthy Tyalmuty,
Ngoia Pollard, Patju Presley, Kuntjil Cooper and Myra Cook.

Agathon Galleries organizes regular free lectures on Aboriginal Art in the gallery in both English and French language.

Aboriginal Art Tours
Agathon Galleries charters Aboriginal community art centre flight tours from Alice Springs. You will fly to Irrunytju in a 7 seater
aircraft where you will be based for the two-three day stay. Your itinerary includes visiting a number of remote desert community
art centres including Irrunytju, a chance to meet with the artists and enjoy the activity of their simple studio environment. You may
purchase works directly from them if you wish. At night you will have a traditional campfire experience under the skies. The tour
will include a visit to ancient cave paintings nearby. Agathon will organise permits into the community lands and accommodation at
Alice Springs if requested. All meals will be organised by Agathon.
